Matthew 4:25

25 aAnd great crowds followed him from Galilee and the bDecapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.

Matthew 11:7-12

7As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John: What did you go out cinto the wilderness to see? dA reed shaken by the wind? 8What then did you go out to see? A man
Or Why then did you go out? To see a man . . .
dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kingshouses.
9What then did you go out to see? fA prophet?

Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
10This is he of whom it is written,

h“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way before you.’
11Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 iFrom the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence,
Or  has been coming violently
and the violent take it by force.

Mark 1:5

5And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, kconfessing their sins.

Luke 3:7

7He said therefore to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him, l“You brood of mvipers! Who warned you to flee from nthe wrath to come?

Luke 16:16

16 o“The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then pthe good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and qeveryone forces his way into it.
Or  everyone is forcefully urged into it

John 3:23

23John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because water was plentiful there, and people were coming and being baptized

John 5:35
