Matthew 5:13

Salt and Light

13You are the salt of the earth, abut if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

Matthew 11:21-24

21 bWoe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in cTyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 dBut I tell you, it will be more bearable on ethe day of judgment for fTyre and Sidon than for you. 23And you, gCapernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to hHades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 iBut I tell you that jit will be more tolerable on kthe day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.”

Hebrews 10:28-29

28 lAnyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy mon the evidence of two or three witnesses. 29How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one nwho has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned othe blood of the covenant pby which he was sanctified, and has qoutraged the Spirit of grace?
