15 aNor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

John 1:4-9

But akhe laid his right hand on me, alsaying, Fear not, amI am the first and the last, 18and the living one. anI died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and aoI have the keys of Death and Hades. 19 apWrite therefore aqthe things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this. 20As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and arthe seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and asthe seven lampstands are the seven churches.

1“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of athim who holds the seven stars in his right hand, auwho walks among the seven golden lampstands.

2 av“‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but awhave tested those axwho call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. 3I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up ayfor my name’s sake, and you azhave not grown weary. 4But I have this against you, that you have abandoned bathe love you had at first. 5Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do bbthe works you did at first. If not, bcI will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
