For aiyou tithe mint and dill and ajcumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: akjustice and mercy and faithfulness. alThese you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. 24You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing ama camel!

25 anWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For aoyou clean the outside of apthe cup and the plate, but inside they are full of aqgreed and self-indulgence. 26You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of arthe cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean.

27 asWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like atwhitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and auall uncleanness. 28So you also avoutwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of awhypocrisy and lawlessness.
