Matthew 5:39-42

39But I say to you, aDo not resist the one who is evil. But bif anyone cslaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And dif anyone would sue you and take your tunic,
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
let him have your cloak as well.
41And if anyone fforces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 gGive to the one who begs from you, and hdo not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

Matthew 6:25

Do Not Be Anxious

25 iTherefore I tell you, jdo not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Matthew 6:34

34 kTherefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Luke 6:29-35

29 lTo one who mstrikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic

either.
30 oGive to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. 31And pas you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

32 qIf you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34And rif you slend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35But tlove your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and uyou will be sons of vthe Most High, for whe is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Luke 12:22-30

Do Not Be Anxious

22And he said to his disciples, xTherefore I tell you, ydo not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. 23For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24 zConsider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. aaOf how much more value are you than the birds! 25And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his abspan of life?
Or  a single cubit to his stature; a cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
26If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? 27Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
Some manuscripts  Consider the lilies; they neither spin nor weave
yet I tell you, aeeven Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, afO you of little faith! 29And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor agbe worried. 30For ahall the nations of the world seek after these things, and aiyour Father knows that you need them.

Luke 21:34

Watch Yourselves

34But watch yourselves ajlest akyour hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and alcares of this life, and amthat day come upon you suddenly anlike a trap.

1 Corinthians 6:7

7To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. aoWhy not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?

1 Corinthians 7:29-31

29This is what I mean, brothers: apthe appointed time has grown very short. From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, 30and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy aqas though they had no goods, 31and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For arthe present form of this world is passing away.
