God’s Sovereign Choice

1 gI am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit 2that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3For hI could wish that I myself were iaccursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
my kinsmen kaccording to the flesh.

Or For as the sufferings of Christ abound for us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ
6 oIf we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter.
