14 ^aFor if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 ^bbut if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 25:34-40

34 Then ^cthe King will say to ^dthose on his right, ‘Come, you ^ewho are blessed by my Father, ^finherit ^gthe kingdom ^hprepared for you ⁱfrom the foundation of the world. 35 For ^jI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you ^kgave me drink, ^lI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 ^mI was naked and you clothed me, ⁿI was sick and you ^ovisited me, ^pI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And ^qthe King will answer them, ^r‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these ^smy brothers, ^{▼▼Or brothers and sisters} you did it to me.’

Luke 6:38

38 ^ugive, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put ^vinto your lap. For ^wwith the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-14

The Cheerful Giver

6 The point is this: ^xwhoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully ^{▼▼Greek with blessings; twice in this verse} will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, ^znot reluctantly or under compulsion, for ^aaGod loves a cheerful giver. 8 And ^abGod is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency ^{▼▼Or all contentment} in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,

^ad“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies ^aeseed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and ^afincrease the harvest of your righteousness. 11 ^agYou will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which ^ahthrough us will produce thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying ^aithe needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. 13 By their approval of this service, ^ajthey ^{▼▼Or you} will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your ^alconfession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, 14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you.

Philippians 4:17
