Matthew 6:7-15

7And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as athe Gentiles do, for bthey think that they will be heard cfor their many words. 8Do not be like them, dfor your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 ePray then like this:

fOur Father in heaven,
ghallowed be hyour name.
Or Let your name be kept holy, or Let your name be treated with reverence

10 jYour kingdom come,
kyour will be done,
Or Let your kingdom come, let your will be done

mon earth as it is in heaven.
11 nGive us othis day our daily bread,
Or  our bread for tomorrow

12and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13And qlead us not into temptation,
but rdeliver us from sevil.
Or the evil one; some manuscripts add For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen

14 uFor if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 vbut if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
