Matthew 7:21-23

I Never Knew You

21 aNot everyone who bsays to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will center the kingdom of heaven, but the one who ddoes the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 eOn that day fmany will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not gprophesy in your name, and cast out demons hin your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 iAnd then will I declare to them, ‘I jnever knew you; kdepart from me, lyou workers of lawlessness.’

Matthew 13:30

30Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, " mGather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn."’”

Matthew 13:38-43

38The field is the world, and the good seed is nthe sons of the kingdom. The weeds are othe sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. pThe harvest is qthe end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40Just as the weeds rare gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at sthe end of the age. 41 tThe Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all ucauses of sin and vall law-breakers, 42 wand throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place xthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then ythe righteous will shine like the sun zin the kingdom of their Father. aaHe who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 16:24-27

Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus

24Then Jesus told his disciples, If anyone would come after me, let him abdeny himself and actake up his cross and follow me. 25For adwhoever would save his life
The same Greek word can mean either soul or  life, depending on the context; twice in this verse and twice in verse 26
will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
26For afwhat will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or agwhat shall a man give in return for his soul? 27 ahFor the Son of Man is going to come with aihis angels in the glory of his Father, and ajthen he will repay each person according to what he has done.

The Final Judgment

31 anWhen the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, aothen he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him apwill be gathered aqall the nations, and arhe will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates asthe sheep from the goats. 33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34Then atthe King will say to authose on his right, ‘Come, you avwho are blessed by my Father, awinherit axthe kingdom ayprepared for you azfrom the foundation of the world. 35For baI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you bbgave me drink, bcI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 bdI was naked and you clothed me, beI was sick and you bfvisited me, bgI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40And bhthe King will answer them, biTruly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these bjmy brothers,

you did it to me.’


41Then he will say to those on his left, blDepart from me, you bmcursed, into bnthe eternal fire prepared for bothe devil and his angels. 42For bpI was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, bqyou did not do it to me.’ 46And these will go away brinto eternal punishment, but the righteous bsinto bteternal life.”

Mark 8:38

38For buwhoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this bvadulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed bwwhen he comes in the glory of his Father with bxthe holy angels.”

John 5:28-29

28Do not marvel at this, for byan hour is coming when bzall who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, cathose who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
