4saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? eSee to it yourself.” 5And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, fhe departed, and he went and hanged himself. 6But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into gthe treasury, since it is blood money.” 7So they took counsel and bought with them the potter’s field as a burial place for strangers. 8Therefore hthat field has been called the Field of Blood ito this day.

Acts 1:18-19

he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.
19And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called min their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

1 Corinthians 3:11-14

11For no one can lay a nfoundation other othan that which is laid, pwhich is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw 13 qeach one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed rby fire, and sthe fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, the will receive a reward.

Hebrews 6:4-8

4For it is impossible, in the case of those uwho have once been enlightened, who have tasted vthe heavenly gift, and whave shared in the Holy Spirit, 5and xhave tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6and ythen have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since zthey are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. 7For aaland that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. 8But abif it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, acand its end is to be burned.
