Matthew 7:3-5

3Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but ado not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

Mark 7:6-8

6And he said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you bhypocrites, as it is written,

c“‘This people honors me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me;
7in vain do they worship me,
teaching as ddoctrines the commandments of men.’
8You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

Mark 7:13

13thus emaking void the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

Colossians 2:8

8See to it that no one takes you captive by fphilosophy and gempty deceit, according to hhuman tradition, according to the ielemental spirits
Or elementary principles; also verse 20
of the world, and not according to Christ.

Colossians 2:23

23These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in kpromoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are lof no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.
