23 cAnd when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but dhe was asleep. 25And they went and woke him, saying, eSave us, Lord; we are perishing.” 26And he said to them, Why are you fafraid, gO you of little faith?” Then he rose and hrebuked the winds and the sea, and ithere was a great calm. 27And the men jmarveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even kwinds and sea obey him?”

35 lOn that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” 36And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. 37And a great windstorm arose, and the waves mwere breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. 38But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” 39And he awoke and nrebuked the wind and said to the sea, Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and othere was a great calm. 40He said to them, Why are you pso afraid? Have you still no faith?” 41And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, qWho then is this, that even rthe wind and the sea obey him?”
