21 Another of the disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 22 And Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave ^athe dead to bury their own dead.”

Matthew 10:37-38

37 ^bWhoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And ^cwhoever does not take his cross and ^dfollow me is not worthy of me.
