25And they went and woke him, saying, aSave us, Lord; we are perishing.”

Matthew 16:25

25For bwhoever would save his life
The same Greek word can mean either soul or  life, depending on the context; twice in this verse and twice in verse 26
will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Mark 3:4

4And he said to them, d“Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent.

Mark 8:3

3And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.”

Mark 8:5

5And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, eSeven.”
