14 Then ^athe disciples of John came to him, saying, ^b“Why do we and ^cthe Pharisees fast, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts add much, or often} but your disciples do not fast?” 15 And Jesus said to them, ^e“Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? ^fThe days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and ^gthen they will fast.
