Micah 4:3-7

3 He shall judge between many peoples,
and shall decide disputes for strong nations far away;
and they shall ^abeat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore;
4 ^bbut they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree,
^cand no one shall make them afraid,
^dfor the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.
5 For ^eall the peoples walk
each in the name of its god,
but ^fwe will walk in the name of the Lord our God
forever and ever.

The Lord Shall Rescue Zion

6 ^gIn that day, declares the Lord,
^hI will assemble the ⁱlame
and gather those who have been driven away
and those whom I have afflicted;
7 and the lame I will make ^jthe remnant,
and those who were cast off, a strong nation;
and ^kthe Lord will reign over them ^lin Mount Zion
from this time forth and forevermore.

Micah 7:18-20

God’s Steadfast Love and Compassion

18 ^mWho is a God like you, ⁿpardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
^ofor the remnant of his inheritance?
^pHe does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
19 He will ^qagain have compassion on us;
^rhe will tread our iniquities underfoot.
^sYou will cast all our ^{▼▼Hebrew their} sins
into the depths of the sea.
20 ^uYou will show faithfulness to Jacob
and steadfast love to Abraham,
^vas you have sworn to our fathers
from the days of old.
