bBut you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
who are too little to be among the clans of cJudah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to be druler in Israel,
ewhose coming forth is ffrom of old,
from ancient days.

Micah 5:4-5

4And he shall stand gand shepherd his flock hin the strength of the Lord,
in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
And they shall dwell secure, for now ihe shall be great
to the ends of the earth.
5And he shall be jtheir peace.
kWhen the Assyrian comes into our land
and treads in our palaces,
then we will raise against him seven lshepherds
and eight princes of men;

Micah 7:14

14 mShepherd your people nwith your staff,
the flock of your inheritance,
who dwell alone in a forest
oin the midst of pa garden land;
Hebrew  of Carmel

let them graze in Bashan and Gilead
as in the days of old.

John 21:15-17

3not avdomineering over those in your charge, but awbeing examples to the flock. 4And when axthe chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the ayunfading azcrown of glory.
