Micah 6:10-13

10Can I forget any longer the treasures
Or Are there still treasures
of wickedness in the house of the wicked,
and the scant measure that is accursed?
11Shall I acquit the man bwith wicked scales
and with a bag of deceitful weights?

Zechariah 7:9-13

James 2:13

13For zjudgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

James 5:2-7

2 aaYour riches have rotted and abyour garments are moth-eaten. 3Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. acYou have laid up treasure adin the last days. 4Behold, aethe wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and afthe cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of agthe Lord of hosts. 5 ahYou have lived on the earth in luxury and aiin self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in aja day of slaughter. 6You have condemned and akmurdered althe righteous person. He does not resist you.

Patience in Suffering

7Be patient, therefore, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verses 9, 10, 12, 19
until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives anthe early and the late rains.
