Micah 7:18-20

God’s Steadfast Love and Compassion

18 ^aWho is a God like you, ^bpardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
^cfor the remnant of his inheritance?
^dHe does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
19 He will ^eagain have compassion on us;
^fhe will tread our iniquities underfoot.
^gYou will cast all our ^{▼▼Hebrew their} sins
into the depths of the sea.
20 ⁱYou will show faithfulness to Jacob
and steadfast love to Abraham,
^jas you have sworn to our fathers
from the days of old.

Romans 5:20-21

20 Now ^kthe law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, ^lgrace abounded all the more, 21 so that, ^mas sin reigned in death, ⁿgrace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
