Nahum 1:1

Nahum 2:10-11

10 ^cDesolate! Desolation and ruin!
^dHearts melt and ^eknees tremble;
^fanguish is in all loins;
^gall faces grow pale!
11 Where is the lions’ den,
the feeding place of ^hthe young lions,
where the lion and lioness went,
where his cubs were, with ⁱnone to disturb?

Nahum 3:7

7 And all who look at you ^jwill shrink from you and say,
“Wasted is ^kNineveh; ^lwho will grieve for her?”
^mWhere shall I seek comforters for you?

Nahum 3:15

15 There will the fire devour you;
the sword will cut you off.
It will ⁿdevour you ^olike the locust.
Multiply yourselves ^plike the locust;
multiply ^qlike the grasshopper!

Nahum 3:18-19

18 Your shepherds ^rare asleep,
O king of Assyria;
^syour nobles slumber.
Your people ^tare scattered on the mountains
with none to gather them.
19 There is no easing your hurt;
^uyour wound is grievous.
All who hear the news about you
^vclap their hands over you.
For ^wupon whom has not come
your unceasing evil?

Zechariah 10:10-11

10 ^xI will bring them home from the land of Egypt,
and gather them from Assyria,
and ^yI will bring them to the land of Gilead and to Lebanon,
^ztill there is no room for them.
11 ^aaHe shall pass through the sea of troubles
and strike down the waves of the sea,
^aband all the depths of the Nile shall be dried up.
The pride of Assyria shall be laid low,
and ^acthe scepter of Egypt shall depart.
