he dries up all the rivers;

5 ^eThe mountains quake before him;
^fthe hills melt;
the earth heaves before him,
^gthe world and all who dwell in it.
6 ^hWho can stand before his indignation?
Who can endure the heat of his anger?
His wrath ⁱis poured out like fire,
and ^jthe rocks are broken into pieces by him.
