18 Your shepherds ^aare asleep,
O king of Assyria;
^byour nobles slumber.
Your people ^care scattered on the mountains
with none to gather them.
19 There is no easing your hurt;
^dyour wound is grievous.
All who hear the news about you
^eclap their hands over you.
For ^fupon whom has not come
your unceasing evil?
