Nehemiah 13:22

22Then I commanded the Levites athat they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. bRemember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

Psalms 103:8-13

8The Lord is cmerciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 dHe will not always chide,
nor will he ekeep his anger forever.
10He does not deal with us faccording to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11For gas high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his hsteadfast love toward ithose who fear him;
12as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he jremove our transgressions from us.
13As ka father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion lto those who fear him.

Isaiah 26:20-21

20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves mfor a little while
until the fury has passed by.
21 nFor behold, the Lord is coming out from his place
to punish the inhabitants of othe earth for their iniquity,
and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.
