Nehemiah 2:2

2 And the king said to me, “Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but ^asadness of the heart.” Then I was very much afraid.

but a good word makes him glad.

14 A man’s spirit will endure sickness,
but ^ca crushed spirit who can bear?

7 so ^gyou should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.

10 For ^hgodly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas ⁱworldly grief produces death.
