Nehemiah 4:2-4
2And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of aSamaria, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves? ▼▼Or Will they commit themselves to God?
Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?” 3 cTobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Yes, what they are building— dif a fox goes up on it he will break down their stone wall!” 4 eHear, O our God, for we are despised. fTurn back their taunt on their own heads and give them up to be plundered in a land where they are captives. Job 30:1-9
1“But now they glaugh at me,men who are hyounger than I,
whose fathers I would have disdained
to set with the dogs of my flock.
2What could I gain from the strength of their hands,

3Through want and hard hunger
they kgnaw lthe dry ground by night in mwaste and desolation;
4they pick saltwort and the leaves of bushes,
and the roots of the broom tree for their food. ▼
