Nehemiah 4:2-4

2And he said in the presence of his brothers and of the army of aSamaria, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they restore it for themselves?
Or  Will they commit themselves to God?
Will they sacrifice? Will they finish up in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, and burned ones at that?”
3 cTobiah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Yes, what they are buildingdif a fox goes up on it he will break down their stone wall!” 4 eHear, O our God, for we are despised. fTurn back their taunt on their own heads and give them up to be plundered in a land where they are captives.

Psalms 44:13-16

13You have made us gthe taunt of our neighbors,
the derision and hscorn of those around us.
14You have made us ia byword among the nations,
ja laughingstock
Hebrew  a shaking of the head
among the peoples.
15All day long my disgrace is before me,
and lshame has covered my face
16at the sound of the taunter and reviler,
at the sight of mthe enemy and the avenger.

Psalms 89:50-51

50 nRemember, O Lord, how your servants are mocked,
and how I bear in my oheart the insults
Hebrew lacks  the insults
of all the many nations,
51with which your enemies mock, O Lord,
with which they mock qthe footsteps of your ranointed.

Isaiah 53:3

by men,
a man of sorrows,

and as one from whom men hide their faces
Or  as one who hides his face from us
