Nehemiah 5:15

of silver. Even their servants lorded it over the people. But I did not do so, cbecause of the fear of God. Nehemiah 5:18

for each day was one ox and six choice sheep and birds, and every ten days all kinds of wine in abundance. Yet for all this fI did not demand the food allowance of the governor, because the service was too heavy on this people. 1 Corinthians 9:7
7 gWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? hWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?1 Corinthians 9:18
18What then is my reward? That in my preaching iI may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.2 Corinthians 11:9

13For in what were you less favored than the rest of the churches, except that nI myself did not burden you? Forgive me this wrong!14Here ofor the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be a burden, for pI seek not what is yours but you. For qchildren are not obligated to save up for their parents, but rparents for their children.
