10A rope is hidden for him in the ground,
a trap for him in the path.
11 iTerrors frighten him on every side,
and chase him at his heels.
12His strength is famished,
and calamity is jready for his stumbling.

Psalms 73:5-9

5They are not in trouble as others are;
they are not kstricken like the rest of mankind.
6Therefore pride is ltheir necklace;
violence covers them as ma garment.
7Their neyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
8They scoff and ospeak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
9They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.

Psalms 73:17-20

17until I went into pthe sanctuary of God;
then I discerned their qend.
18 Truly you set them in rslippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
19How they are destroyed sin a moment,
swept away utterly by tterrors!
20Like ua dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when vyou rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.

Proverbs 16:14
