Nehemiah 9:16-17

16“But they and our fathers aacted presumptuously and stiffened their neck and did not obey your commandments. 17They refused to obey band were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, cgracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

Nehemiah 9:26

26 d“Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you eand cast your law behind their back fand killed your prophets, who ghad warned them in order to turn them back to you, hand they committed great blasphemies.

Nehemiah 9:29

29 iAnd you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet jthey acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, kwhich if a person does them, he shall live by them, land they turned a stubborn shoulder mand stiffened their neck and would not obey.

Jeremiah 3:17

17At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, nand all nations shall gather to it, oto the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart.

Jeremiah 6:16-17

16 Thus says the Lord:
Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for pthe ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
qand find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
17 rI set watchmen over you, saying,
‘Pay attention to sthe sound of the trumpet!’
But they said, t‘We will not pay attention.’

Jeremiah 7:24

24 uBut they did not obey or incline their ear, vbut walked in their own counsels and wthe stubbornness of their evil hearts, and xwent backward and not forward.

Jeremiah 7:26

26 yYet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, zbut stiffened their neck. aaThey did worse than their fathers.

Jeremiah 9:13-14

13And the Lord says: abBecause they have forsaken my law that I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice or walked in accord with it, 14but achave stubbornly followed their own hearts and have gone after the Baals, as their fathers taught them.

Jeremiah 35:15

15I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them adpersistently, saying, aeTurn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and afdo not go after other gods to serve them, and then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to you and your fathers.’ agBut you did not incline your ear or listen to me.

Jeremiah 44:17

17 ahBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to aithe queen of heaven ajand pour out drink offerings to her, akas we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster.
