Nehemiah 9:16-17

16“But they and our fathers aacted presumptuously and stiffened their neck and did not obey your commandments. 17They refused to obey band were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, cgracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

Nehemiah 9:26

26 d“Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you eand cast your law behind their back fand killed your prophets, who ghad warned them in order to turn them back to you, hand they committed great blasphemies.

Nehemiah 9:29

29 iAnd you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet jthey acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, kwhich if a person does them, he shall live by them, land they turned a stubborn shoulder mand stiffened their neck and would not obey.

Lamentations 1:18

Lamentations 1:20

Ezekiel 2:3

3And he said to me, “Son of man, I send you to the people of Israel, to snations of rebels, who have rebelled against me. tThey and their fathers have transgressed against me to this very day.

7And you shall speak my words to them, uwhether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

8 vBut they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. wNone of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them xand spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

13 yBut the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. zThey did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; aaand my Sabbaths they greatly profaned.
