Psalms 106:35-41

Hosea 4:1-3

The Lord Accuses Israel

There is no faithfulness or steadfast love,

Hosea 8:5-14

I will soon gather them up.

because of the tribute.
11 Because Ephraim ^bqhas multiplied altars for sinning,
they have become to him altars for sinning.
12 ^brWere I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands,
they would be regarded as a strange thing.
13 As for my sacrificial offerings,
^bsthey sacrifice meat and eat it,
but the Lord does not accept them.
^btNow he will remember their iniquity
and punish their sins;
^buthey shall return to Egypt.
14 For ^bvIsrael has forgotten ^bwhis Maker
and ^bxbuilt palaces,
and ^byJudah has multiplied fortified cities;
so ^bzI will send a fire upon his cities,
and it shall devour her strongholds.
