7 You are the Lord, the God ^awho chose Abram and brought him out of ^bUr of the Chaldeans ^cand gave him the name Abraham. 8 ^dYou found his heart faithful before you, ^eand made with him the covenant to give to his offspring ^fthe land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. ^gAnd you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.
