Numbers 10:29-32

29And Moses said to Hobab the son of aReuel the Midianite, Mosesfather-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said, b‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you, for cthe Lord has promised good to Israel.” 30But he said to him, “I will not go. I will depart to my own land and to my kindred.” 31And he said, “Please do not leave us, for you know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you will serve das eyes for us. 32And if you do go with us, ewhatever good the Lord will do to us, the same will we do to you.”

Ruth 1:16-17

16But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. fYour people shall be my people, and your God my God. 17Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. gMay the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.”

2 Samuel 15:19-22

19Then the king said to hIttai the Gittite, “Why do you also go with us? Go back and stay with the king, for you are a foreigner and also an exile from your home. 20You came only yesterday, and shall I today make you wander about with us, since I go iI know not where? Go back and take your brothers with you, and may the Lord show

21But Ittai answered the king, k“As the Lord lives, and as my lord the king lives, lwherever my lord the king shall be, whether for death or for life, there also will your servant be.” 22And David said to Ittai, “Go then, pass on.” So Ittai the Gittite passed on with all his men and all the little ones who were with him.

2 Kings 2:6

6Then Elijah said to him, mPlease stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.

1 Chronicles 12:18

18Then nthe Spirit clothed oAmasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,

“We are yours, O David,
and with you, O son of Jesse!
pPeace, peace to you,
and peace to your helpers!
For your God helps you.”
Then David received them and made them officers of his troops.

Isaiah 55:5

5 qBehold, you shall call a nation that you do not know,
