Numbers 10:33

33So they set out from athe mount of the Lord three daysjourney. And the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them three daysjourney, to seek out ba resting place for them.

Deuteronomy 9:9

9 cWhen I went up the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant that the Lord made with you, I remained on the mountain dforty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.

Hebrews 8:6-10

6But as it is, Christ

7 iFor if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

8For he finds fault with them when he says:

when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 lFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and mwrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.

Hebrews 9:4
