Numbers 11:1

The People Complain

1And athe people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, bhis anger was kindled, and cthe fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.

Numbers 11:33-34

33 dWhile the meat was yet between their teeth, before it was consumed, the anger of the Lord was kindled against the people, and ethe Lord struck down the people with a very great plague. 34Therefore the name of that place was called fKibroth-hattaavah,
 Kibroth-hattaavah means graves of craving
because there they buried the people who had the craving.

Numbers 14:36-37

36 hAnd the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land 37the men who brought up a bad report of the landidied by plague before the Lord.

Numbers 16:31-35

31 jAnd as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and kall the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and lthey perished from the midst of the assembly. 34And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!” 35And mfire came out from the Lord and consumed nthe 250 men offering the incense.

Numbers 16:49

49Now those who died in the plague were 14,700, obesides those who died in the affair of Korah.

Lamentations 4:9

9 Happier were the victims of the sword
than the victims of hunger,
who wasted away, pierced
by lack of the fruits of the field.
