Numbers 11:1-3

The People Complain

1And athe people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, bhis anger was kindled, and cthe fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp. 2Then dthe people cried out to Moses, eand Moses prayed to the Lord, and the fire died down. 3So the name of that place was called fTaberah,
 Taberah means burning
because the fire of the Lord burned among them.

Deuteronomy 32:22

22For ha fire is kindled by my anger,
and it burns to ithe depths of Sheol,
devours the earth and its increase,
and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Isaiah 1:31

31And the strong shall become jtinder,
and his work a spark,
and both of them shall burn together,
with knone to quench them.

Isaiah 30:30

30And the Lord lwill cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger mand a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst nand storm and hailstones.

Isaiah 30:33

33For oa burning place
Or  For Topheth
has long been prepared; indeed, for the king it is made ready, qits pyre made deep and wide, with fire and wood in abundance; rthe breath of the Lord, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.

Isaiah 33:12

12And the peoples will be as if burned to lime,
slike thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.”

Isaiah 34:8-10

8 tFor the Lord has a day of vengeance,
a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
9 uAnd the streams of Edom
Hebrew her streams
shall be turned into pitch,
and her soil into sulfur;
her land shall become burning pitch.
10Night and day wit shall not be quenched;
xits smoke shall go up forever.
yFrom generation to generation it shall lie waste;
none shall pass through it forever and ever.

Isaiah 66:16-17

16For zby fire aawill the Lord enter into judgment,
and by his sword, with all flesh;
and those slain by the Lord shall be many.
17 ab“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one in the midst, aceating pig’s flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together, declares the Lord.
