Numbers 11:21-22

21 But Moses said, ^a“The people among whom I am number six hundred thousand on foot, and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!’ 22 ^bShall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, and be enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, and be enough for them?”

2 Kings 4:42-44

42 A man came from ^cBaal-shalishah, ^dbringing the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said, ^e“Give to the men, that they may eat.” 43 But his servant said, “How can I set this before a hundred men?” So he repeated, “Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the Lord, ‘They shall eat and have some left.’” 44 So he set it before them. And they ate and had some left, according to the word of the Lord.

Mark 6:37

37 But he answered them, ^f“You give them something to eat.” And ^gthey said to him, ^h“Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii ^{▼▼A denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer} worth of bread and give it to them to eat?”

Mark 8:4-5

4 And his disciples answered him, “How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?” 5 And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, ^j“Seven.”

John 6:5-7

5 ^kLifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to ^lPhilip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” 6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. 7 ^mPhilip answered him, “Two hundred denarii ^{▼▼A denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer} worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”
