Numbers 11:21-23

21 But Moses said, ^a“The people among whom I am number six hundred thousand on foot, and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!’ 22 ^bShall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, and be enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, and be enough for them?” 23 And the Lord said to Moses, ^c“Is the Lord’s hand shortened? Now you shall see whether ^dmy word will come true for you or not.”

Psalms 78:19-20

19 They spoke against God, saying,
^e“Can God ^fspread a table in the wilderness?
20 ^gHe struck the rock so that water gushed out
and streams overflowed.
Can he also give bread
or provide meat for his people?”

Matthew 15:33-34

33 And the disciples said to him, “Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?” 34 And Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, ^h“Seven, and a few small fish.”

Mark 6:37-38

37 But he answered them, ⁱ“You give them something to eat.” And ^jthey said to him, ^k“Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii ^{▼▼A denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer} worth of bread and give it to them to eat?” 38 And he said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they said, ^m“Five, and two fish.”

Mark 8:4-5

4 And his disciples answered him, “How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?” 5 And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, ⁿ“Seven.”

Luke 9:13

13 But he said to them, ^o“You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than ^pfive loaves and two fish—unless we are to go and buy food for all these people.”
