Numbers 20:10-13

Moses Strikes the Rock

10Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said to them, aHear now, you rebels: shall we bring water for you out of this rock?” 11And Moses lifted up his hand and struck the rock with his staff twice, band water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their livestock. 12And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because cyou did not believe in me, dto uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.” 13 eThese are the waters of Meribah,
 Meribah means quarreling
where the people of Israel quarreled with the Lord, and through them he showed himself holy.

Psalms 106:32-33

32 They gangered him at the waters of Meribah,
and it went ill with Moses on their account,
33for they hmade his spirit bitter,
Or  they rebelled against God’s Spirit

and he jspoke rashly with his lips.

Psalms 139:21

21 kDo I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not lloathe those who mrise up against you?

Mark 3:5
