Moses’ Final Blessing on Israel

1This is the blessing with which Moses fthe man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death.

Deuteronomy 34:5

5So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord,

10And there has not garisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, hwhom the Lord knew face to face,

Judges 13:6-8

6Then the woman came and told her husband, i“A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. jI did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name, 7but he said to me, k‘Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. So then drink no wine or strong drink, and eat nothing unclean, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.’”

8Then Manoah prayed to the Lord and said, “O Lord, please let the man of God whom you sent come again to us and teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.”

A Man of God Confronts Jeroboam

1And behold, la man of God came out of Judah by the word of the Lord to Bethel. Jeroboam was standing by the altar mto make offerings.

14And he went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak. And he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” And he said, “I am.”
