David Anointed King of Judah
1After this David ginquired of the Lord, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David said, “To which shall I go up?” And he said, “To hHebron.”2 Samuel 15:10
10But Absalom sent secret messengers throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then say, ‘Absalom is king at Hebron!’”1 Kings 2:11
11And the time that David reigned over Israel was iforty years. He reigned seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
