Numbers 13:22-23

22 They went up into ^athe Negeb and came to ^bHebron. ^cAhiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the ^ddescendants of Anak, were there. ( ^eHebron was built seven years before ^fZoan in Egypt.) 23 And ^gthey came to the Valley of Eshcol and cut down from there a branch with a single cluster of grapes, and they carried it on a pole between two of them; they also brought some pomegranates and figs.

Joshua 10:36-37

36 Then Joshua and all Israel with him went up from Eglon to ^hHebron. And they fought against it 37 and captured it and struck it with the edge of the sword, and its king and its towns, and every person in it. He left none remaining, as he had done to Eglon, and devoted it to destruction and every person in it.
