Numbers 14:11

11 And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people ^adespise me? And how long will they not ^bbelieve in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?

Deuteronomy 9:21-22

21 Then ^cI took the sinful thing, the calf that you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw the dust of it into the brook that ran down from the mountain.

22 “At ^dTaberah also, and at ^eMassah and at ^fKibroth-hattaavah you provoked the Lord to wrath.

Psalms 78:17

17 Yet they sinned still more against him,

Psalms 106:14-33

25 They ^ahmurmured in their tents,
and did not obey the voice of the Lord.
26 Therefore he ^airaised his hand and swore to them
that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
27 and would make their offspring fall among the nations,
^ajscattering them among the lands.
28 Then they ^akyoked themselves to the ^alBaal of Peor,
and ate sacrifices offered to ^amthe dead;
29 they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds,
and a plague broke out among them.
30 Then ^anPhinehas stood up and intervened,
and the plague was stayed.
31 And that was ^aocounted to him as righteousness
from generation to generation forever.
32 They ^apangered him at the waters of Meribah,
and it went ill with Moses on their account,
33 for they ^aqmade his spirit bitter, ^{▼▼Or they rebelled against God’s Spirit}
and he ^asspoke rashly with his lips.
