Numbers 14:17-19
17And now, please let the power of the Lord be great as you have promised, saying, 18 a‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, bvisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’ 19Please cpardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just das you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.”Romans 5:15
15But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for emany.Romans 5:20-21
20Now fthe law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, ggrace abounded all the more, 21so that, has sin reigned in death, igrace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
