Numbers 14:2

2And all the people of Israel agrumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or bwould that we had died in this wilderness!

Numbers 14:27-30

27How long shall cthis wicked congregation grumble against me? dI have heard the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against me. 28Say to them, e‘As I live, declares the Lord, fwhat you have said in my hearing I will do to you: 29 gyour dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and hof all your number, listed in the census ifrom twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me, 30not one shall come into the land where I jswore that I would make you dwell, kexcept Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

Numbers 16:46-49

46And Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, and put fire on it from off the altar and lay incense on it and carry it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for lwrath has gone out from the Lord; the plague has begun.” 47So Aaron took it as Moses said and ran into the midst of the assembly. And behold, the plague had already begun among the people. And he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. 48And he stood between the dead and the living, and mthe plague was stopped. 49Now those who died in the plague were 14,700, nbesides those who died in the affair of Korah.

Numbers 21:5-6

5And the people ospoke against God and against Moses, pWhy have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and qwe loathe this worthless food.” 6 rThen the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and sthey bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.
