Deuteronomy 29:2-4

2
Ch 29:1 in Hebrew
And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them: g“You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land,
3the great htrials that your eyes saw, the signs, and those great wonders. 4But to this day ithe Lord has not given you a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear.

Nehemiah 9:10-17

10 jand performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh and all his servants and all the people of his land, for you knew that kthey acted arrogantly against our fathers. And lyou made a name for yourself, as it is to this day. 11 mAnd you divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on dry land, and you cast their pursuers into the depths, nas a stone into mighty waters. 12By oa pillar of cloud you led them in the day, and by a pillar of fire in the night to light for them the way in which they should go. 13 pYou came down on Mount Sinai qand spoke with them from heaven and gave them rright rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments, 14 sand you made known to them your holy Sabbath and commanded them commandments and statutes and a law by Moses your servant. 15 tYou gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and ubrought water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and you vtold them to go in to possess the land that you had sworn to give them.

16“But they and our fathers wacted presumptuously and stiffened their neck and did not obey your commandments. 17They refused to obey xand were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, ygracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

Psalms 106:7-13

7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wondrous works;
they zdid not remember the abundance of your steadfast love,
but aarebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
8Yet he saved them abfor his name’s sake,
acthat he might make known his mighty power.
9He adrebuked the Red Sea, and it aebecame dry,
and he afled them through the deep as through a desert.
10So he agsaved them from the hand of the foe
and ahredeemed them from the power of the enemy.
11And aithe waters covered their adversaries;
not one of them was left.
12Then ajthey believed his words;
they aksang his praise.
13 But they soon alforgot his works;
they did not wait for amhis counsel.

Isaiah 1:3

3The ox anknows its owner,
and the donkey its master’s crib,
but Israel does aonot know,
my people do not understand.”

Isaiah 48:6-8

6 “You have heard; now see all this;
and will you not declare it?
From this time forth apI announce to you new things,
hidden things that you have not known.
7They are created now, not long ago;
before today you have never heard of them,
lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
8You have never heard, you have never known,
from of old your ear has not been opened.
For I knew that you would surely deal treacherously,
and that aqfrom before birth you were called a rebel.
