29 ^ayour dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and ^bof all your number, listed in the census ^cfrom twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me,

Numbers 14:35

35 ^dI, the Lord, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all ^ethis wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die.”

Numbers 26:64-65

64 ^fBut among these there was not one of those listed by Moses and Aaron the priest, who had listed the people of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. 65 For the Lord had said of them, ^g“They shall die in the wilderness.” Not one of them was left, ^hexcept Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

Deuteronomy 2:14-16
