Numbers 14:35-37

35 aI, the Lord, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all bthis wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die.”

36 cAnd the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land 37the men who brought up a bad report of the landddied by plague before the Lord.

Deuteronomy 7:4

4for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. eThen the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you fquickly.

1 Kings 13:4

Proverbs 6:15

Jeremiah 28:15-17

15And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, ithe Lord has not sent you, jand you have made this people trust in a lie. 16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, kbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Ezekiel 37:7
