Numbers 14:36-37

36 aAnd the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land 37the men who brought up a bad report of the landbdied by plague before the Lord.

Numbers 16:30-35

30But if the Lord creates something new, and cthe ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they dgo down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord.”

31 eAnd as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and fall the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and gthey perished from the midst of the assembly. 34And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!” 35And hfire came out from the Lord and consumed ithe 250 men offering the incense.

Psalms 2:3-5

3“Let us jburst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who ksits in the heavens llaughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5Then he will speak to them in his mwrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,

Psalms 2:9

9You shall nbreak

Psalms 21:8-9

8 Your hand will rfind out all your enemies;
your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9You will make them as sa blazing oven
when you appear.
The Lord will swallow them up in his twrath,
and ufire will consume them.

Luke 19:14

14But vhis citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’

Luke 19:42-44

42saying, wWould that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now xthey are hidden from your eyes. 43For ythe days will come upon you, when your enemies zwill set up a barricade around you and aasurround you and hem you in on every side 44 aband tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And acthey will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know adthe time of your aevisitation.”

Luke 21:22

22for these are afdays of agvengeance, to fulfill ahall that is written.

Luke 21:24

24They will fall by the edge of the sword and aibe led captive among all nations, and ajJerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, akuntil the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
