Numbers 14:6-9

6 ^aAnd Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, ^b“The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land. 8 If ^cthe Lord delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, ^da land that flows with milk and honey. 9 Only ^edo not rebel against the Lord. And ^fdo not fear the people of the land, for ^gthey are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”

1 “When you go out to war against your enemies, and see ^hhorses and chariots and an army larger than your own, you shall not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is ⁱwith you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 2 And when you draw near to the battle, ^jthe priest shall come forward and speak to the people 3 and shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel, today you are drawing near for battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint. Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them, 4 for the Lord your God is he who goes with you ^kto fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’

Joshua 11:4-6

4 And they came out with all their troops, a great horde, in number ^llike the sand that is on the seashore, with very many horses and chariots. 5 And all these kings joined their forces and came and encamped together at the waters of Merom to fight against Israel.
